My Dad's B'day (the E-mail - End)

I sent a "Thank You" e-mail the very next day. And this was his reply:

I wish had a daughter like you. When I made the decision to participate, it was more because of you. I thought, well, a daughter who went the extra mile to make her Dad happy deserves not just a pat on the shoulder. Of course, there are other things to do on my part. But, what I experienced last night was among the highlights that I would remember for a long time. I never regretted what I did, and I thanked the Lord for the good time I had with your family and friends.

You must be a special daughter for your parents. I'm proud of you, and glad to be part of your "plot" to surprise Dad.
